The iconic Mini was first produced in 1959 by the BMC (British Motor Corporation) and has continued production until 2000. The Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th Century. The Mini Mark I was produced from 1959 to 1967 at which point it was succeeded by the Mark II and finally succeeded again by the Mark III in 1970. The First Generation of new Mini’s were produced until 2007, where they were succeeded by the Second Generation Mini which is still currently in production.
