Ford will unveil its new Ford Focus ST at this weekends (27 June 2014) Goodwood Festival of Speed. Ford is very tight lipped about the car at present, having just released this single teaser image and long distance video.
The only major detail to come out of the release is that the new Ford Focus ST will have a diesel powerplant in addition to a petrol. More than 140 000 STs have been sold worldwide since 2002, none of them diesel so this is a big step for a market segment that dines on turbocharged petrol motors.
The Focus ST will run up and down the hill at Goodwood for the three days of the show, whilst visitors will get to test their virtual skills against Ben Collins The (ex) Stig in Gran Turismo 6.
