Description

What can I even say about a Land Cruiser 79 that hasn't already been proven over the last few decades? This is quite simply one of the most indestructible machines ever built. On-road, off-road, on a farm, on a mine, in the middle of nowhere... it genuinely doesn't care. And if you ask me, the 4.0L V6 petrol is the one to have. It's simple, dependable, incredibly tough and has built a reputation that very few engines on earth can match. This isn't just a bakkie; it's probably the closest thing you'll ever buy to a lifetime investment.

Then somehow we stumbled across this one... and I still don't really understand how it exists. Just 32,000 km on the clock, a Full Toyota Service History and condition that honestly borders on showroom new. Usually these things have already worked harder than most people by the time they come onto the market. Finding one this fresh is unbelievably rare, and whoever buys it gets to enjoy decades of reliability before it even starts breaking a sweat.

As if that wasn't enough, this Cruiser already has thousands and thousands of rands worth of quality off-road accessories fitted. A proper cattle rail, ONCA off-road bumper, BF Goodrich mud-terrain tyres, twin fuel tanks... all the expensive bits have already been done for you. That's money you don't have to spend, and upgrades you'd probably end up fitting anyway.

If I owned a farm, this would be my daily without thinking twice. Honestly, I'd probably drive it even if I didn't. It's one of those vehicles that makes even taxis move over without asking, and I swear potholes disappear when they see a Land Cruiser coming. It's rugged, it's honest, it's built with one purpose, and it does that job better than anything else on the road.

I honestly don't need to sell this one... it sells itself. The Land Cruiser 79 has earned its reputation the hard way, by surviving places and conditions that would destroy almost anything else. There's a reason these things regularly clock well over a million kilometres. When you buy a Land Cruiser, you're not buying gimmicks or trends. You're buying no-nonsense engineering, bulletproof reliability and the kind of peace of mind that's becoming harder and harder to find. This one is about as good as they come.

Keep well, see you soon.
