Description
Inspired by the voluptuous 1967 Tipo 33 Stradale, the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is a rear wheel drive, mid-engine sports car with a carbon fibre tub/chassis which weighs only 1130kg. It gives the driver a raw, race-inspired experience with unassisted steering and agile handling
Assembled at the Maserati factory in Modena Italy, the Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is powered by the 237 BHP 1,75l 4-cylinder turbo engine paired to a six-speed dual clutch transmission. Because the 4C's carbon tub is so rigid, the Spider required virtually no additional floor or chassis strengthening compared to the Coupe, adding less than 10 kg overall plus the flat underside of the car is designed to generate enough downforce to skip the use of a rear wing
The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider gives access to supercar construction at a fraction of the cost and with only 9117 Alfa Romeo 4C’s produced between 2013 and 2020 (3900 Spiders), it is rare and collectible
