2010 Ferrari 612

The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is a pivotal front-engine V12 Grand Tourer produced from 2004 to 2011, named in honour of the legendary Modenese coachbuilder Sergio Scaglietti. It was designed to succeed the 456M, focusing heavily on delivering genuine four-seater practicality and comfort combined with immense performance. The 612 is defined by its powerful, naturally aspirated 5.75 litre V12 engine, positioned mid-front, an evolution of the engine found in the 575M Maranello which shared architecture with the contemporary Enzo V12.

The 612 was Ferrari's second road car (after the 360 Modena) to utilise an advanced all-aluminium space-frame chassis, resulting in significant weight reduction and increased torsional rigidity, which improved both safety and handling stability. The long wheelbase (2,950 mm) provided exceptional high-speed comfort and class-leading rear-seat legroom for a Ferrari. The Ferrari 612 was capable of a top speed of 199 mph and could accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 4.0 seconds.

The vast majority of the 3,025 units built were specified with the F1A electro-hydraulic automated manual transmission, which featured continuously refined software throughout the model's lifespan for faster and smoother shifting.
