According to the accompanying BMW Heritage certificate and original service booklet, this BMW 2000 CS was manufactured on the 18th April 1969 and delivered on the 10th of June 1969 by Stikland Motors (Pty) Ltd via the importer Euro-Republic Automobile distributors (Pty) Ltd, as Club Motors was first known. ---- Mr SL Harris was the first owner based in Bergvliet Cape Town and extremely passionate about BMW. He ensured this Polaris Silver BMW 2000 CS was fully serviced and extremely well looked after. 
----  Apparently, this vehicle is one of less than 20 factory built Right Hand Drive BMW 2000CS ever made in contrast to the 148 UK market Right hand drive examples converted on arrival in the UK. 
--- On arrival at Crossley & Webb, this example has had a major service and detailing completed which has included the following: 
•	Adjust valve clearances 
•	Service distributor, plug leads etc. 
•	Replace spark plugs 
•	Check & balance carburetors to sea level
•	Replace fuel filter
•	Lubrication service 
•	Strip & service steering assembly & tie rod ends

•	Full exterior paint correction and interior cleaning and detailing
