A beautifully preserved example of one of Mercedes-Benz’s most recognisable designs.
Finished in Light Blue, this 200 Fintail remains remarkably original and has never undergone a full restoration. While it has received some paint touch-ups over the years, a fair portion of its original paintwork remains. The original chrome is still vibrant and presents beautifully, complementing the car’s wonderful period appearance.
Inside, the originality continues. The original interior remains in very good condition, with the seats, dashboard and carpeting all presenting incredibly well for a vehicle approaching 60 years old.
Under the bonnet sits its original 2.0-litre engine, which remains lively, responsive and ready to be enjoyed on the road.
We are not presenting this vehicle as perfect, nor are we trying to. Its appeal lies in the fact that it is an honest, highly original car that has never been comprehensively restored or stripped of the character it has developed over nearly six decades.
