Description
A proper example of an honest Ponton.
This 1958 Mercedes-Benz 220S has had just three owners from new and remains wonderfully original throughout exactly the kind of history and originality collectors look for.
The interior was redone some years ago and still presents beautifully today, keeping true to the character and elegance of the car. Even better, the car still retains its original books and manuals a rare and important detail.
She starts easily, runs very well, and offers the solid, refined driving experience that made these early Mercedes-Benz models so respected worldwide.
These Pontons are becoming increasingly harder to find in honest, original condition, and as always cars are only original once.
A proper classic Mercedes with charm, history, and collectibility.
Located in Shere, Pretoria East.
