About Mini
The iconic Mini was first produced in 1959 by the BMC (British Motor Corporation) and has continued production until 2000. The Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th Century. Unlike other car manufacturers the Mini is the only car made under the production company, varying only in model variant. The Mini Mark I was produced from 1959 to 1967 at which point it was succeeded by the Mark II and finally succeeded again by the Mark III in 1970. Also in the list of models is the Mini Cooper, the Mini Cooper S and the Mini Clubman. In recent times the Mini brand was bought by BMW and an updated version of the Mini was produced. The First Generation of new Mini’s were produced until 2007, where they were succeeded by the Second Generation Mini which is still currently in production.
The icon of the 60’s has been reinvented and brought into the 21st century with the new versions of the classic Mini.
