The Volkswagen Cross Polo debut

The Volkswagen Cross Polo debut
Volkswagen's long list of vehicle models keeps on rolling with the announcement of the Cross Polo. The ever-popular Polo just keeps getting improved and revamped. This time around the Polo has been turned into a "lifestyle" SUV.

The riding height of the car has been raised from the normal Polo, along with 17inch wheels and tires. The roof-racks complete the SUV-look and give the Cross Polo a true rugged and off-road feel.

Much of the interior has received leather stitch-styling, along with aluminium pedals and chrome styling. The Cross Polo comes standard with a 6-speed manual gearbox but other options include a 7-speed DSG.

The Cross Polo will go on sale in Germany in May, followed by the rest of Europe and Japan.
