Mazda has announced that the new 2014 Mazda6 will make its global debut at next month’s Moscow International Motor Show. The new Mazda6 fully incorporates Mazda’s SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and features Mazda’s KODO design language. The Russian specification sedan on display will feature a SKYACTIV-G 2.0-litre petrol engine that’s mated to a SKYACTIV-Drive six-speed automatic transmission. The new Mazda6 also features ‘i-ELOOP’ or ‘Intelligent Energy Loop’ which is the worlds first capacitor-based regenerative braking system which will help improve fuel economy by up to 10 percent. The complete line-up of the 2014 Mazda6 vehicles will make their global debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show in September. Mazda SA has indicated that the Mazda6 will be available in South Africa in the first half of 2013 |
