Rover began producing bikes and motorcycles in 1878 and later moved to automobile production. Rover was later taken over by BMW who subsequently sold the company to the Phoenix Consortium but retained ownership of the Rover Marque. BMW later sold the Rover Marque to Ford in 2006 who in turn came to an agreement with Tata Motors so that the Rover Marque became part of their Jaguar Land Rover operations. There are however no Rover cars currently in production and the Marque is considered dormant.
Although Rover has been taken over many times in their history, their cars still retain the Rover style and classic status they have earned. Cars.co.za is proud to display used Rover cars available from private sellers as well as registered second hand car dealerships located around South Africa. Search through the Cars.co.za database for a used Rover car that fits your needs.
