2024/25 #CarsAwards – The Best Cars announced
Cars.co.za announced its 2024/25 Awards winners (including Brand of the Year) at a gala event at Mall of Africa on 27 February 2025. Watch the video below to learn more about our category champions as well as the overall workings of the competition.
The Finalists: South Africa’s Top New Cars in 13 Categories
Each year the Cars.co.za team studies the local market to identify the segments where South Africans are shopping (all new cars on the market available by our selection date are considered). From a list of 65 semi-finalists, we select 39 finalists (3 per category), after which those vehicles are submitted to back-to-back testing at the Gerotek proving ground by the #CarsAwards’ combined judging panel. Finally, the judges’ scores are combined with owner feedback to determine the category winners.
