Cars.co.za is seeking to employ a highly motivated PHP web developer. The successful candidate will join a passionate young team responsible for maintenance and enhancement of existing web systems as well as development of new web systems.

Minimum Requirements
Tertiary education in relevant discipline, from an established University or Technikon. BSc preferred.
Good understanding of development principles especially OOP
Minimum 2 years PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS , HTML
Linux development
Ability to work alone and within a team
Ability to work to deadlines
Ability to work well under pressure
Strong written and interpersonal skills
Own transport

Advantageous skills
Ajax
XML / Web service
Mobile development
Any additional web and SEO experience would be advantageous

Duties and Responsibilities:
Produce quality code that is well documented, and in accordance with system and technical specifications
Development of new database driven PHP applications
Development and modification of existing PHP / MySQL systems
Problem solving and system design.
