About Toyota
Toyota started its car production in the 1930s in Japan, and overtime the company has developed into one of the world’s most popular car manufacturers. The first Toyota car was made in 1935, by a division of the Toyoda Automatic Loom Works – an enterprise that was steered by Kiichiro Toyoda. The first Toyota car that was manufactured was a Model A1 passenger car, which featured a type A engine. A year later, the first Toyota G1 Truck was manufactured. Eventually, the Toyota Motor Co. was established as an independent and separate car producing company. The slight change in the name was meant to signify the separation of the founders' professional and private life. Currently, Toyota has three headquarters, which are situated in Toyota City, Aichi and in Tokyo.
