About Subaru
Subaru is the automobile manufacturing division of FHI (Fuji Heavy Industries) which began in 1917 as The Aircraft Research Laboratory. The company produced aircraft for Japan during World War II and later manufactured motor-scooters. Eventually a number of companies merged together to form FHI.
