How to sell your car | ||||||||

Select the correct cars account Cars.co.za has two account options. The private seller account is designed for the needs of the average person who is trying to privately sell their used car. This is very different from the car dealer account which is tailored for car dealers. Selecting the correct account is the first step in the car sale process. Register for your cars account Registration is easy. Simply click on the register link for the cars account that you have chosen. Both will direct you to a simple submission form where you can specify your account details. Activate your cars account After registration, an activation email will be sent to your email address, simple follow the instructions on the email to activate your cars account. Login to your cars account Once your cars account has been succesfully activated, log in to the account with the email address and password you specified in your registration form. List your car for sale Using the menu system provided upon login, click on Sell car, this will direct you to a form where you can enter the specifics of the cars for sale. Simply fill in this form and submit. Activate your vehicle A page will now pop up displaying the car advert you have entered, if all the information is correct, simply click the activate link and your car will be listed on our site. If there are errors, click de-activate and you can edit your used car to fix the problem. | ||||||||
