Here is a quick reminder that the Gauteng Motor Show is fast approaching and is now just around the corner, so be sure to pick up your tickets for a chance to see all the best car exhibits Guateng has to offer.
The Gauteng Motor Show begins on the 5th of June and runs till the 6th of June 2010 and will feature a number of different car and auto related activities for the Gauteng and South African public. Check out drifting from some of the top drifters in Gauteng and South Africa as well as international drifters. Included in the drifting event will be drivers from New Zealand and Greece who will test their skills against Gautengs best drivers and drifters.
Also in the lineup is a range of bike displays, events and riders from around South Africa. The show attempts to incorporate many other events as well and will include displays and shows to cater to the South African motoring public with a variety of interests.
One key event in particular is the Miss Gauteng Motor Show which is a beauty pageant that will run for the duration of the show. The event is open to girls from 13-17 and 18-25 years old. This is a great opportunity for girls from around Gauteng to enter and stand a chance to win a variety of prizes. Also the winner of the Miss Gauteng Motor Show will be automatically entered into the second round of judging in the Miss South Africa 2010.
The entrance is R60 for adults, R40 for kids and free entrance for kids under 6. The event is being held at Zwartkops raceway which is located 10 minutes outside of Centurion. Be sure not to miss out on this great chance to see some of the most entertaining car and bakkie displays of driving in Gauteng, along with various other auto and motor related displays. For any Car enthusiast living in Gauteng, you cannot pass up this opportunity, so head on over to Zwartkops raceway when the event begins!
